Dr. Alexandra Poelman D.C. was born and raised in Goderich, Ontario. She received her Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences from Western University in London, Ontario. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr.Poelman has also received her certification in contemporary medical acupuncture, also known as neurofunctional acupuncture, from McMaster University.
Dr. Poelman is not licensed as a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist. She provides acupuncture as part of her chiropractic scope of practice and does not hold a separate acupuncturist license number. For insurance purposes, treatments involving acupuncture will typically be billed under the chiropractic portion of your coverage.
